Liam Payne Ends Engagement

Guess some relationships just don’t live forever.

Liam Payne and his fiancee, Maya Henry, have ended their engagement, less than a year after he proposed to her.

The 27-year old “Live Forever” singer was first linked to the 20-year-old model in August 2018, before announcing their engagement in August last year.

However, Payne confirmed the break-up news while appearing on an episode of “The Diary Of A CEO” podcast, which premiered on Monday, 7 June.

He explained: “I feel like more than anything at this point, I’m more disappointed in myself that I keep on hurting people. That annoys me. I’ve just not been very good at relationships … so I just need to work on myself before I put myself on to somebody else. And I feel like that’s where I got to in my last relationship.”

Although vague on the specifics behind the split, Payne added: “I can honestly say that I feel better out of it. I didn’t feel good for doing what I did, but it had to happen … I hope [Henry] is happy.”

Henry herself has yet to comment publicly on the break-up.
